WifiTest.pk provides a browser-based internet speed test and a library of practical connection guides. This policy explains the information involved in those features, where the application stores results, and what happens when you contact us. It describes the current application rather than making a blanket promise that visiting a website produces no network records. For questions about this policy, email [email protected].
Information involved in a speed test
Starting a test causes your browser to request and send test data directly to Cloudflare’s speed measurement endpoints. Those requests necessarily expose connection information, including your public IP address, to the service receiving them. Their purpose is to measure transfer performance and response timing. The generated upload payload is test data; the application does not read your personal documents, photographs, or device files to perform the measurement.
Cloudflare operates its own infrastructure and has its own information-handling practices. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its descriptions of processing, retention, and available choices. WifiTest.pk does not control Cloudflare’s internal records. A speed measurement is therefore not an anonymous interaction with every system along its network path.
Results and settings in your browser
The speed-test application uses local browser storage. The itest-history entry holds up to ten completed results, including their time, download and upload readings, ping, jitter, and transfer samples. The itest-preferences entry stores the selected display unit, measurement duration, and connection count. These entries support the history view and preserve your choices between visits on the same browser.
The application does not upload this saved history to an WifiTest.pk account or results database. There is no account synchronization feature. Local storage may remain until you clear it, replace it with newer results, or your browser removes it. On a shared device, another person using the same browser profile may see those saved results.
Your storage and sharing choices
You can remove saved results using Clear history in the test’s history view. To remove both history and preferences, clear this site’s data through your browser settings. Browsers may restrict storage in private sessions; the visible test can still work when persistence is unavailable. Changing devices or browsers does not transfer the saved records.
Copy results writes the selected result summary to your clipboard only after you activate that control. It does not automatically publish the summary or send an email. Your operating system and other software may provide their own clipboard features. Review any text or screenshot before sharing it, especially if you have added identifying information yourself.
Website requests, cookies, and integrations
The current application does not include an advertising integration, an analytics tracking script, an account system, or application code that sets a tracking cookie. Fonts are served with the site rather than requested from a third-party font service. These observations concern the application features and do not guarantee that every hosting, security, or network intermediary operates without logs or cookies.
Serving pages requires ordinary web requests. Hosting and infrastructure services may process technical information for delivery, diagnostics, or security. Their actual records and retention depend on the deployed service configuration. This policy does not assign an unverified deletion period to those systems or claim control over your internet provider’s records.
Email and external destinations
If you email [email protected], your email service and the receiving mailbox handle the message and any attachments you choose to send. The message can include your address, its contents, and ordinary mail metadata. Please send only what is needed to explain the issue. Do not include passwords, payment information, full account identifiers, or router administration credentials.
Articles link to other websites for references and provider information. Following those links takes you to services governed by their own practices. An external reference is not an WifiTest.pk data-protection guarantee or an endorsement of everything on that destination. You can read our guides without opening external links or running a transfer test.
